Fees: $175 per team Please note that this is mainly a beginner competition intended to give mostly year 8, 9 & 10 students tournament experience. The Open and Girls division for each grade may be merged if insufficient entries are received to hold each division separately. Grades will not be merged.
Games will be played over both days but will not start until after 3pm on Saturday due to pool availability.
Under 14s All players entered in this division are required to be under 14 years old as at 1 January 2018 (birth date after 1/1/2004) Players who have participated in National League competition at any level or played Winter League at A grade level or higher are not permitted to enter this grade.
Under 16s All players are required to be under 16 at time of competition. (Year 11 or under) As at the date of the competition Players who have participated in National League competition at B2 grade level or higher or played Winter League at Premier grade level do not qualify as beginners and are not permitted to enter.
Rash shirts MUST be worn. 8 minutes each way, 1 minute half time, 3 minutes between games. Points for round robin games; win = 3 draw = 1 loss = 0 default = 0 If teams are tied on points after round robin games, the following system will be used to decide placings; - Goals difference - Goals for - Goals against For placing games or games that need a result and is drawn at normal full time then the winner is determined by blocks of five minutes, sudden death.
ICF rules shall apply except: CPHB shall provide all gear - Helmets, PFD's, Spray Decks, Paddles and Boats (Teams may bring their own gear if they wish) Pushing will be allowed in finals, during pool play it can be agreed by both teams
